London, UK – PSI, a global provider of testing services, has joined forces with Edvoy, the digital platform for students wanting to study abroad. This partnership breaks down barriers to international education by increasing access to the Skills for English Secure English Language Test (SELT) for visa applicants and students.
The commercial agreement between PSI and Edvoy enables students to easily book a Skills for English test direct on the Edvoy platform. Making the process of meeting the English language requirement for a study visa application more streamlined and straightforward for students. This is significant as the number of students enrolled outside their home country continues to rise and is predicted to reach 8 million by 2025.
PSI’s Skills for English is trusted by a growing number of education institutions worldwide as proof of English proficiency. It is one of only four SELTs approved by the UK Home Office for UK visa applicants outside of the UK and the only SELT delivered in one session (for reading and listening, speaking and writing skills).
Henry Tolley, Vice President of Global English Language Testing at PSI said: “PSI and Edvoy are rapidly growing organisations, both looking to expand our reach and offering to students. This strategic partnership supports these ambitions. What’s more, the increased coverage facilitated by this partnership makes Skills for English even more convenient for students – helping them to get where they want to go.”
The Edvoy platform is a fast growing one-stop-shop for students wanting to study abroad. Liam McGrath, Global Partnerships Director at Edvoy said: “Edvoy is delighted to partner with Skills for English and PSI to help ever more students on their higher education journey.
“We believe Skills for English and its market-leading assessments and Edvoy’s dedicated guidance and support for students form the basis of an incredible partnership to bring growing opportunities to students worldwide. We look forward to a long and truly fruitful collaboration with the team at Skills for English.”
Skills for English will be featured on the Edvoy student app, with clear information for students to help them book the test they need to fulfil their ambitions to study abroad. Students and universities alike are assured of trusted, high-quality SELT from a Home Office provider that complies with all visa requirements and supports long term student retention.
