London, UK – PSI, a global provider of testing services, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with International House World Organisation (IHWO), a global network of language schools, to deliver Skills for English. This agreement embeds PSI’s suite of English tests into IHWO’s global network of 150 affiliated language schools in over 50 countries, spanning every continent.
The new relationship gives IHWO students and schools streamlined access to high-quality, Home Office approved Secure English Language Testing (SELT) for visa purposes, as well as industry-leading secure online testing. This is the first PSI partnership with a global organisation of language schools to support strategic growth plans for Skills for English.
Henry Tolley, Vice President of Global English Language Testing at PSI, says, “This exciting new alliance delivers multiple benefits for IHWO schools and students, while offering commercial opportunities to both IHWO and PSI.
“We are extending the reach of Skills for English to well over 200,000 students, supporting their ambitions to learn a new language and study abroad. And IHWO member schools are now better able to support their students’ learning goals, while being offered the opportunity to join our growing network of secure PSI Test Centres.”
Emma Hoyle, IHWO Managing Director, says, “We are delighted to sign this MoU with PSI and Skills for English, giving schools in the IHWO network the opportunity to offer the PSI suite of exams as well as many other benefits.
“As part of this cooperation, Skills for English by PSI will be sponsoring the IHWO Directors’ Conference. The event, taking place in London in May, will be extra special this year, as we celebrate IHWO’s 70th anniversary. We’re looking forward to working together with the PSI team to support high-quality teaching and assessment of language skills in international education.”
In addition to being the Platinum sponsor of the IHWO Directors’ Conference, PSI will be engaging with IHWO member schools over the coming months to develop individual relationships and provide services bespoke to their needs.
